Quotes

Sgt. Andrew Carter: [Carter reading RSVP about Klink's party] Here's the Blue Baron's answer. "Colonel Klink, when I received your invitation, for a moment I had forgotten who you were. "However, the weather turned cold and my knee stiffened up, as it has since August the fourth 1917, when you panicked and almost killed the two of us in that training crash. Instead of your party, I'll be soaking my knee".

Needs to be watched twice to get all the laughs.

In this enjoyable episode the Allies are trying to find out the location of an airfield that is run by the World War One flying ace General Von Richter , aka 'The Blue Baron'. When Hogan learns that Klink and Richter were flying partners in the previous war, he gets Klink to invite him to a party. But it turns into a problem when Richter has nothing but disdain for Klink.

In a last ditch effort go get Richter to the party, Hogan learns that he is a sucker for the ladies. Hogan gets word to Richter that Honey Hornburg and her Exotic Dancers will be the entertainment. Richter, and even General Burkhalter, change their minds and will attend. If all goes well they will learn of the airfield when Richter returns. But they did not know that Richter is having too much fun to leave.

There are some humorous scenes in this episode. Particular when Klink wants to end the party but Burkhalter thinks its Saturday night. With loads of laughs and some very nice acting, this show was a success.
