Goofs

When Colonel Karla Hoffman visits Klink's office, she interviews Schultz about his ESP. Schultz's uniform has his Luftwaffe eagle patch on backwards. Rather than the eagle facing left towards his heart, it is facing right and the swastika is backwards. In the final scene, Schultz now has his patch correctly facing left with the swastika also correctly displayed. See more »

Quotes

Colonel Karla Hoffman: [ordering the others out of the room] I have observed that the psychic communication between Hogan and Schultz is very close. I must explore the matter further alone. Take a bottle and do not hurry back.
General der Infanterie Albert Burkhalter: But, uh where is there to go in a prison camp?
Col. Wilhelm Klink: Ah, leave that to me, General Burkhalter. The moonlight- it's beautiful on the laundry or the bakery. Oh, unforgettable.

A well written script.

Sometimes a comedy sitcom may be enjoyable but the story is considered second to making sure the viewers find the show humorous. In this episode we have some funny lines and also a quality story, making for an enjoyable watch.

What has happened is that Schultz, with help from Hogan, has been predicting which city will be bombed by the Allies fighters. Klink tells Burkhalter who calls in a General from the Gestapo to verify the remarkable predictions.

When the General turns out to be a beautiful female, that appears to be wanting to help the allied effort, Hogan is not convinced. Does he trust the female General with valuable information or does he follow order.

This is one episode that everything is working. The story was interesting, the script funny and the entire show entertaining. Score one for the writers.
