Howard Caine does a great job in this episode

Field Marshal Rudolf Richter makes a surprise visit to Stalag 13 but his purpose for being at the camp is that the Gestapo is closing in on him and he wants to defect to the Allies. It is not long before Major Hochstetter arrives and gets the word to arrest the Field Marshal.

Hogan, in the meantime, has activated a plan where they hide Richter until they can get everything ready for his escape. And when the plan is activated Major Hochstetter will have his gun at-the-ready to put a stop to the escape.

This is a nice story that was well acted. Harold J Stone and Howard Caine make the believable and entertaining. Even though this was a rehashed plot, the way the episode comes to an end- makes it pure entertainment. Good watch.
