Lily Frankel (Marilyn Mason) and Hogan do not seem to know each other even though they met and even had a brief affair in Six Lessons from Madame LaGrange (1970).
The first stock-footage clip of American bombers shows B-17 Flying Fortresses. In the second clip, when the bombers are dropping their bombs, the planes are another make/model.
This is another of the prop department's ongoing mistake of Sergeant Schultz wearing a uniform with his Luftwaffe eagle and swastika placed backwards on his chest. In an early closeup scene with General Burkhalter and Hogan in Klink's office, the eagle on Schultz's chest faces away to the right but should be facing left towards the heart. His backwards swastika is also not properly displayed by showing its vertical lines on the upper left and lower right sides, but mistakenly has his vertical lines on the upper right and lower left sides.
The car the major is driving in the opening scene, has the steering wheel on the wrong side. The wheel is on the right, when it should be on the left.
There is no way General Burkhalter and Colonel Klink could stand next to the rocket while it launched and not suffer any serious injuries.
When the guard shoots into the ground to scare the prisoners away from the missile, there is no visible flash from the machine gun when he fires, and the explosions of dirt (supposed caused by the bullets) doesn't line up with the gun as he waves it back and forth.
In one scene you can see the outdoor spotlights reflected on the rotating radar dish on the radar detection truck.
Obviously a low-budget prop the receiving dish on the radio detection truck is made by spreading aluminum foil over a bowl shaped form.
When Carter and LeBeau turn on the electromagnet to "cook" Schultz's steak, there is a thin, light string visible which is attached to the spatula. It is only visible in the shot before the magnet pulls the spatula out of LeBeau's hand.
Another instance occurs here of clumsy editing revealing obvious California hills outside the camp/set.
In Klink's office, Schultz is with Klink and Gen. Burkhalter. Once again, on the right breast of Schultz's tunic, the eagle and swastika patch is backwards. The eagle should be pointing to Schultz's left, facing his heart. BTW, the patch on Klink's coat is fine, as always. It is especially apparent when Klink is standing right next to Schultz; one is correct, the other not.
On the radio, Baker uses code names to disguise their identity and location to any prying ears. But then he asks what to do about the rocket launcher parked in their camp. Depending how many other camps might have had rocket launchers parked within them, this would seem to be a pretty serious threat to their security.
