Goofs

LaBeau shoots the rifle at the crate and puts three holes in it, then he shoots the pail and water pours out of the holes, yet just a moment later when General Burkhalter walks around the building and in front of the cart, there are no bullet holes anywhere, nor is there any water coming out of the pail. Quotes

Col. Wilhelm Klink: [the men are planting flowers] I was not aware that you were such a nature lover.
Col. Robert E. Hogan: Mm-hmm, we think it'll, uh it'll go a lot easier for you, sir - you should be prepared.
Col. Wilhelm Klink: Prepared for what?
Col. Robert E. Hogan: For the liberation. When the Allies march in the front gate, it'll go a lot easier for you if you're standing there with a bouquet of pansies.

Should have passed on this script
24 August 2014 | by See all my reviews

At times it is difficult for writers to come up with enough scripts for the entire season. And in this episode it is quite obvious that the writers are grabbing at any subject tossed about. This episode has a chimpanzee, that has escaped from the local zoo, coming into camp. Hogan's gang will think of a way to use the ape for the Allied effort.

There really is little about this episode that is interesting. A monkey arrives in camp and the trainers make the animal perform some basic tricks, that has been done thousand of times before, all for the supposed entertainment of the viewer. There were a few funny lines but no real story in this production. I guess, by the end of the season, any thought can be made into an episode. This proves it.
