- LeBeau says that he keeps rendezvousing with a little old lady who is actually young and beautiful.
- At the start, LeBeau is complaining why he ways goes on missions. He says that he is always meeting a crotchety old lady Underground agent. Newkirk does not feel sorry for him, and gives him an address of a chaplain in England. While this is going on, Kinchloe and Carter are playing gin at the table. Carter gets 'gin'; it was dealt to him. Carter asks LeBeau to ask Wilhelmina (the Underground agent) about the Dutch story about the boy who stuck his finger in the dike, whether it is true. LeBeau convinces the others that Wilhelmina is a little old lady, when in actuality she is a pretty young blonde. On the mission at Wilhelmina's apartment, she asks him why they did not send some of the other men. LeBeau responds that the others did not volunteer.
Later, back at camp, Kinch gets a radio message stating that the Gestapo is picking up agents. The agent 'Wooden Shoe' got picked up by the Gestapo, and they are looking for others. Wilhelmina wants LeBeau to leave; LeBeau wants to stay and asks her about the story of the boy sticking his finger in the dike. Wilhelmina tells him that in a few minutes the German Restaurant below will start cooking dinner. LeBeau does not like German cooking, so he leaves.
LeBeau gets back to camp, shouting like he had been visiting a little old lady. LeBeau wants to go back to try to save her, but Hogan says that nobody leaves camp. That night, LeBeau sneaks out of the barracks when the others are asleep, and goes to the dog enclosure tunnel entrance. He apparently gets out of camp that way. The next morning, Newkirk, Carker, and Kinch can not find LeBeau. Hogan wants to go to Klink for help. He tells Schultz that LeBeau has escaped. Schultz takes roll call, and answers for LeBeau, as he does not want to have an escape to report. Schultz wants to report that all are present, but Hogan tells Klink that LeBeau is missing. Klink orders the dogs let out in an effort to find him. Hogan wants Klink to catch LeBeau instead of the Gestapo, because the Gestapo might do something nasty to him. Hogan is to give Klink help.
After a while of searching, Klink is in his office dictating a letter to General Burkhalter asking to replace the guard dogs. He specifically names Wolfgang, Heidi, Hans, and Greta as dogs to be replaced. Hogan comes to Klink's office and again offers to help Klink. When Klink mentions the guard dog problem, Hogan tells Klink that Major Hochstetter uses Belgian Shepherds, not German Shepherds. Hogan convinces Klink that if Hochststter finds LeBeau, Klink will end up in Stalingrad.
Hogan, Newkirk, and Carter get in a staff car driven by Schultz, Klink tells Schultz to drive off before he gets in, and Schultz leaves Klink standing there.
Meanwhile, LeBeau and Wilhelmina are in her apartment, with Wilhelmina calling agent 'Wooden Shoe' on the shortwave radio; there is no answer, even as she calls several times. The staff car pulls up to the apartment, and Hogan, Carter, and Newkirk go up to the apartment. They find LeBeau kissing Wilhelmina. They are surprised to find a pretty young woman after LeBeau's description of a little old lady. They even brought an ear trumpet for her. They say that they have to get her to a flower shop at Bundesplatz in order to get her out of there. Just then, Hochstetter arrives in his car with 2 Gestapo guards and 2 guard dogs. Hochstetter is in a business suit with a tie, not his usual black uniform. Klink gives Hochstetter a bad time regarding searching for Underground agents. Klink asks Hochstetter if the dogs are Belgian Shepherds; Hochstetter says yes; Klink asks where he got them, and Hochstetter puts Klink off and goes away.
Just then a little old lady, Wilhelmina in disguise, comes out of the building. Hochstetter asks her if she saw someone suspicious. Hogan and Hochstetter call her 'fraulein', not 'gneidegefrau'. She directs them to an apartment, apparently not hers. Hogan offers her a ride in the car and she accepts. There is a discussion among the prisoners as to whose lap she is going to sit on. Klink tells them to get in the car, and picks the order they will get in. Schultz then drives off, again without Klink. The car stops at a flower shop and lets Wilhelmina and LeBeau out. LeBeau kisses her as she goes into the building. Klink is in the car watching. Normally, Klink would give LeBeau 60 days in the cooler, but because he is sentimental, he gives LeBeau just 30 days.
At the end, Kinch gets a radio message that a new agent, Juliana, has replaced Wilhelmina as their new contact, and gets her address. No one wants to go, so Hogan goes to the address and meets Juliana, who turns out to be another pretty young blonde. When Hogan gets back to camp, he tells the men about Juliana; while smiling he asks them 'do the numbers 38-26-36 mean anything?' The men do not believe him. Hogan smiles and whistles as he walks to his office.
