Berlin Betty visits Stalag 13
5 September 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

London is trying to get information about a new plant in the area of Stalag 13. Hogan has the information but due to an Allied bombing raid, the radio becomes damaged and Hogan is unable to get the important information to London about the ball bearing plant located nearby. Now Hogan has to think of a way to get the information to the Allies in a different way.

The German propaganda division sent a radio message from Berlin Betty to the men in the prison camp. If anyone wanted to defect Berlin Betty would personally meet them for a date. Hogan gets Newkirk to go to Klink and ask to defect and be used by the propaganda division. Now Berlin Betty is on her way to the camp to broadcast to Europe about Newkirk's decision. This just may be what Hogan is looking for.

An interesting story that was very cleverly written. There is more to this story than just the broadcast as the viewer will find out near the end- but overall this was entertaining. Nice subject that was well written.
