Hogan says that it is OK if the Luftwaffe inspects the P-51 since it has a German engine. The engine was not what made the P-51 such a great fighter, it was the design of the plane itself so the Germans would gain a lot of information from studying it. See more »

Hogan and Klink visit London
11 September 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this enjoyable episode, Hogan is bribed by the Germans to go to London and bring back a P-51 fighter so that the Germans can study. The catch here is that Hogan will receive one million dollars for completing the mission. Failure to come back means death for all the men in his barracks. Hogan decides to take the million and bring back a plane. But that is not all of the story.

In fact, Hogan is going to London, not only for the plane, but also to catch a German spy-ring that is causing problems in the Allied Forces. Hogan will have vital information that he can pass to the Allies that will break up the ring and hopefully shorten the war.

Hogan will also have a travel partner to make sure all things are done the German way. But when Hogan finds out that his travel partner is Klink, he considers it a suicide mission.

This was a fast pace episode in order to get all the activities included within the time limit. And unlike some previous episodes, this had a fresh script with new adventures for the viewer to follow. An entertaining show that had many laughs. Good watch.
