Overall mediocre, but a good performance from veteran Elliott Gould.

"A Whole New You" an episode from 1991 which was near the end of the run for the "Hitchhiker" series turned out to be one of the more mediocre ones the story just seems to drag a little without any real suspense. Anyway the performance from movie and TV veteran Elliott Gould is worth a mention and the episode ends with a little bit of a twist. The setting is international(like many episodes late in the series) for this episode, I believe France with criminal Augie Benson(Elliott Gould) who happens to be in police protective custody from his former mob government boss. The plan Augie has is he's gonna change his identity to avoid capture and prosecution, but upon checking into a clinic he finds the plans are different as it will be more than just a face change! Overall pretty mediocre episode of the series, though Gould gives a good performance he puts a lot into his character.
