Duncan and Joe arrive at the San Francisco airport, where Duncan encounters Immortal Andrew Cord being shot by a masked man - who turns out to be Charlie DeSalvo. Joe recognizes Charlie's intended Immortal victim as a former platoon-mate from Viet Nam, a soldier dedicated to maintaining unit solidarity and who saved Joe's life, but who is now selling defective weapons to Charlie & Mara's Balkan revolutionaries. another good episode...just sad
3 September 2013 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Why oh why did Charley have to die... loved his character the every person who grew up tough and still had a good heart... also learning more about Joe, the past his being apart of a war that had reason but no reason (ya contradictory but wasn't that what is was, the ones over there were trying to help, well most of them, the way a few can be so unhuman to others in all time periods... some reasons we the same air to breathe, food an water to survive, and we all pee an poop)...Joe loosing his legs and being given a reason to live the watchers and the one who broke the rules for Joe to become a watcher...the fact a not so good immortal saved Joes life, Duncan "saving him" because of Joe, Charley would have lived, too bad Duncan didn't tell him he couldn't kill him only he could, so many what ifs there...an last but not least the end with Duncan an Joe "ending" their friendship...full show and done not too bad as a second episode after coming back from Scotland...ya I do enjoy watching highlander and for my 2cents didn't mind the 1st movie (the rest if i didn't think about the 1st and TV series) were kinda interestin but very strange
