Quotes

Duncan 'Mac: Did you finish those invoices?
Richard H. 'Richie' Ryan: Not yet...
Duncan 'Mac: What've you been doing?
Richard H. 'Richie' Ryan: I've been busy.
Duncan 'Mac: [mockingly] You've been busy?
Richard H. 'Richie' Ryan: [returns mock] Yeah, I've been busy.
Duncan 'Mac: You know what I think? I think you've got too much time on your hands, I think you need to spend a little time in jail.
Richard H. 'Richie' Ryan: Jail? Whoa whoa whoa! What for? For assault with a paper airplane? For littering in your office?

This epi has Duncan and Tess going to see a friend of his, met over 100yr ago. Almost there something goes wrong with the car, so they get out to walk, this epi is the only one to have Mac Fall to his knees and just know his friend is dead. Heads home but takes Richie to go see the guy arrested for killing his friend. Finds out his friend was liked well enough by most and used to play chess with the sheriff before he retired and left. New sheriff, not real liked, keeps to himself and well somethings off (of course new sheriff, "bad" immortal) and the guy arrested a vet and hero and no "killer".

Press there because of headless body (Macs friend) and the 1 that was found in city before.

New sheriff "tells" the "scummy" of the town the prisoner being moved and so they go to make trouble. Richie tells press who come to view the prob, get threats, Mac gets in there tells them off, they leave taking the other disgrace to the badge and Mac and Richie take off while the press gets the city cops story.

Back home, city cop thanks them, the vet (oh ya he wonders/homeless but still a good guy) comes in to sell his purple heart, Mac says not to buy will lend against till he comes back, gives him $ and slips medal back into vets bag.

Just a nice epi with Mac and his justice, as the new sheriff was taken care of by Mac. Also the lighting on the sword handle at end was I think 1 and only time that was seen in show but was it for the friends grave or...

happy watching
