Duel conflicts. Victoria & Manolito are upset with their father's dishonest methods while a dying friend of Vaquero arrives with $5,000 to buy the village where he and Vaquero were raised but questions arise about the source of the money.

Storyline

Buck and Sam find a man shot in the desert with a money belt containing $5,000. Before he dies, he tells Vaquero who grew up with him that the money is to buy their hometown village from Don Sebastian Montoya and that an Apache shot him. However, Buck realizes the bullet is from a revolver which Apaches don't carry. Blue accompanies Vaquero to the village to give them the money while Big John, Victoria, and Manolito visit the Don to buy cattle. Victoria becomes angry with her father for not dealing honestly with Big John as does Manolito. Meanwhile a man saying is an investigator for the stage line says he is hunting a gang that stole $5,000 from a stage and he wounded one of the men. Buck suspicious of the man takes him to the village. The villagers refuse to turnover the money and the Don tries to back out of his agreement for the village as well.
