After the stage Victoria is on is attacked by Comancheros, she finds herself in the desert with an injured man who she learns wants to kill her husband. While trying to find the way to Tucson, they are captured by the Comancheros.

Storyline

Victoria is returning home from visiting her father by stage. James and Meg Forest are on the stage with her. Comancheros attack and the chase ends when the stage overturns. Everyone appears dead as the Comancheros take the money from the strongbox. Victoria awakens to find everyone dead except her and James Forest. She buries Meg and the two stage line employees. Forest goes in and out of conscientious with bouts of amnesia thinking Victoria is Meg at times. Along with a little water and a horse that returns the two leave for Tucson. Because they lost the stage route, they become lost. Forest slowly regains his strength and eventually his memory. Victoria learns during one of his bouts that he has come to Tucson to kill Big John with whom he grew up. They fought on opposite sides in the Civil War where Big John took Forest prisoner subjecting him to two years in a POW camp. Big John and Manolito decide to meet the stage before it reaches Tucson but when it is late they find the stage... Written by Anonymous
