Storyline

Uncle Mo, an elder of the local Anglo-Indian community, hires Hetty to investigate a series of muggings of middle-aged Indian restaurant owners by a ski-masked gang of young thugs who may be Hindus too. He resists Hetty's recommendation to bring the situation to the attention of local police authorities because he worries about the embarrassment to the families of the guilty parties. When a frustrated Hetty is about to inform the police of the situation, she herself is attacked and her purse snatched. She decides to stay on the case as things become personal.
