King Augeus of Elis always was a bit crazy, but now goes completely mad, believing to be almighty Zeus and confiscating the local temple, devoted to Aphrodite, to be devoted to his 'Olympian queen' Hera. General Machus, his manipulative chief minister, looses effective control and appeals to passing-by Hercules. Hera grants crazy Augeas divine powers till dawn, to be made permanent if he uses them to kill Hercules. Meanwhile Aphrodite seeks revenge and Salmoneus recruits artist Minteus to make coins from a gold statue looted from her temple. Written by KGF Vissers
