Hazel (Shirley Booth) is excited because her "promoter" nephew Frank Aletter (as Walter "Wally" Burke) is visiting from California. Naturally, the visiting relative needs George (Don DeFore) to pay his cab fare, and Mr. Aletter likes to tip big. He immediately bonds with young Harold (Bobby Buntrock) and acquires the car usually driven by pretty Dorothy (Whitney Blake). Offered a chance to invest a few thousand dollars in Aletter's plastic cookware, George suspiciously refuses. Convinced his maid's nephew is a freeloading phony, George wants Hazel to help stop Aletter's business plans.
