The show closes after Cricket's rendition of the song "Now is the Hour." The tune originated in Australia in 1913 as a piano instrumental called "The Swiss Cradle Song" attributed to Clement Scott. During the First World War the Maori people of New Zeland gave the tune lyrics, turning it into a folk song "Po Atarau" which was sung as a farewell to soldiers departing to fight in the war. By the 1940s English lyrics had transformed the song into the version sung here by Cricket.
In his sixth of seven guest appearances on the series, Robert Colbert again receives guest star billing at the top of Act I.
