Someone apparently is trying to convince Joan Carter and everyone she knows that she is mentally ill and only imagining the frightening attacks on her life, but one of those people -- Five-O boss Steve McGarrett -- isn't buying it. Apparently, Joan's antagonist -- if, indeed, that's what he is -- is a mysterious, very-much alive man named Kwan, who, according to the confused Joan, she once shot to death. Written by

Soon Tech-Oh, who plays the blackmailer on this show, is reportedly in the cast of Cocoon, the pilot movie (it depends on which credit list you watch as to whether you will find his name). If correct, he is one of four Cocoon actors to appear in the 12th season (the others are Jack Lord, Khigh Dhiegh, and Andrew Duggan (Use a Gun Go to Hell, airing three weeks later). Lord and Duggan also appear in the Lord-directed TV-movie M Station Hawaii, which was filmed before Five-O's 12th season but aired after it when it didn't sell as a series. See more
