Who's Got the Rifle
27 January 2012 | by (Claremont,USA) – See all my reviews

The episode starts off slowly but develops into a pretty good little mystery. Who's taking potshots at crusty old miners Braus and Talbot (Morgan and Bartell). It's got to be somebody with a rifle. However, only the Martin family down the road has one. Besides, the kid's (Hagerthy) a hothead, while his wife is (Norwick) plain mean. For 500 bucks in gold, Paladin's got to figure it out before one of the shots lands.

Good to see those two fugitives from Dragnet, Morgan and Bartell, playing off one another. Morgan was so good at being grouchy, as he is here. The entry's nothing special but does have pretty good suspense.
