Hart and flowers
coltras3513 September 2023
Max creates a rose hybrid he calls the Jennifer Hart Rose and enters it in a prestigious contest under Jennifer's name. At the same time, one of the main competitors a Greek organized crime figure is killed. More deaths follow - contenders are dropping like flies. One contestant gets killed by bees. The Harts realise that someone is trying to cut the contestants down. They begin to investigate. Soon Jennifer becomes a target for murder...

What I like about Hart to Hart is the diverse subjects taken on, no matter how quirky, and here we have a rose competition, murder and a determined killer. It's a decent episode.

Season Three Trickles in with a Whimper ... and a Sneeze
HilaryElizabeth919 March 2009
And welcome to the third season. Not in with the bang I expected. This one was about a flower contest (yawn), and while I was kind of bored, they stuck a twist in there halfway thru that won back my attention. Continually impressed with how classic and timeless they dressed RJ and Stefanie. It's one of the big reasons that this show is able to stand the test of time. If they looked all 70's and 80's fabulous all the time, we'd be so distracted with cringing that we wouldn't be able to watch it. But the truth is that more often than not, were it not for the other surroundings that give away the time period of the show, J&J themselves would never tip you off. Trek nuts like myself will recognize guest star Salome Jens, who played a couple pivotal roles in Next Gen and DS9. It's not her face you'll recognize, but the voice is unmistakable. We also see the recurring Lt. Grey in this premiere ep of Season 3. My favorite part of the episode is the kicker where Max debuts a new apron. Oh, and there's a shot of Freeway early on where that pooch obviously had had a very recent bath.
