This episode stands out as Richie sort of gets a mini-comeuppance for being the smart college kid, and a real perceived threat to a manual worker in the newspaper printing press. Imagine that? Richie, all clean-cut and moral, a threat to a fellow worker??
It's up to The Fonz to explain to Richie why, because of Richie's college qualifications and so on. Anyway, Richie manages to save his fellow worker's job by diving on the proverbial grenade, so it was nice the fellow worker made Richie a nice hat from a newspaper page. How sweet.
Anyway, once Richie left Happy Days was no longer the same.
