Storyline

Hamish is despondent when his dog Wee Jock is struck by car and left on the road to die. He was struck by a car driven by two men and a bereft Hamish takes to drowning his sorrows. Everyone in the village grieves with him and Isabelle agrees to put an obituary notice in the local newspaper. When Hamish sets out to find the men responsible and TV John has a dream - he thinks it's a premonition - of an armed Hamish exacting his revenge, several of his friends set off to save him from himself. Hamish eventually catches up with the two men, both prison escapees, and he learns something very interesting about a botched robbery they committed some years before. Written by garykmcd
