Very sad episode
13 September 2015 | by (Skyrim, Morrowind) – See all my reviews

First off - THIS SERIES SHOULD NEVER BE WATCHED BY YOUNG CHILDREN!! Yes, it starts off funny and light, but by this episode, it turns SERIOUSLY dark!!

****** SPOILER ALERT ************************************************

The Alphonse brothers investigate an alchemist who , reportedly had made a talking Chimera. They investigate and discover the Chimera spoke because he combined an animal with HIS WIFE. The Chimera said only "I want to die" and starved (her) self to death. This is discussed in the film! He repeats the same experiment with his young DAUGHTER!!

****************** SPOILER ENDS HERE **************************

This episode focuses heavily on Chimeras and is easily the darkest and saddest episode of the entire series. It features a character (discussed and never shown) starving themselves to death, child in mortal danger , later on an alley is shown to be VERY blood spattered from a murder, WHO is murdered is what makes this event even more disturbing. Be aware that this isn't for children at all! The excellent rating covers great acting, great writing, emotional impact (which is heavy, to say the least) and the credits at the end, which will likely bring tears. Bring a handkerchief for this one, you'll need it !
