Ms Kitty has to close the Long Branch
20 November 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Henry Cairn and Jake Fogle are two miners that have hit it rich in the Colorado Mountains and are on their way to the Mississippi River to purchase their life-long dream of owning a riverboat. They stop in Dodge to have a drink when Cairn spots Ms Kitty at the end of the bar. To him, Ms Kitty is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and vows to make her his wife.

Cairn gets all cleaned up buys some nice clothes and heads over to the Long Branch to ask Ms Kitty to marry him. Problem is that Kitty wants nothing whatsoever to do with him or his dream for a riverboat. This sends Cairn away with an idea of how to get Kitty to say yes to the marriage.

He buys the rival bar Lady Gay. And cuts the price of beverages so far below actual cost that there is no way that Kitty can compete. Due to her money loss she elects to close the Long Branch. Cairn feels the closure will force Kitty to marry him. But he finds out that he was wrong.

His friend, Jake Fogle, finds out that Cairn has lost most of his money and wants to find a way to get Carin to forget about Kitty. The only way that Fogle can think is to kill Ms Kitty. So Fogle finds Kitty with intend to kill her when Cairn enters the room.

Amanda Blake is never as beautiful as she is in this episode. From her dresses to her descending the stairs in a flash-back scene- she is a ten. The story was rather far-fetched but the interest level certain. A nice watch for viewers.
