A man has to learns a lesson about living in Dodge City
28 August 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In one of the better shows of the entire series, Mark Lenard plays a hard disciplinary father named Ira Stonecipher. Ira rejects any help from the community around Dodge City wanting to make it on his own. His oldest son Mark who seems to have disdain for his father, decides to team up with some friends and steal items from an old man. When the old man comes out with a shot-gun, one of Mark's friends shoots the man. Mark is upset and wants no part of killing. he goes to the aid of the man but ends up being shot in the back by one of his friends.

With no place to go and bleeding from his wound, Mark decides to go back home. His father gets mad and they end up in a pushing match that ends up sending Mark into a empty well. Mark survives the fall but some of the well has caved-in threatening Mark's life.

With no other option, Ira now has to receive help from the community. A lesson that is hard for Ira to accept. But a part of the helps will be his two friends that want to make sure that Mark cannot be rescued. And now with the men from Dodge City helping to dig Mark out- it may not be enough to counter his friends actions.

A good plot that is made interesting by the characters- this show is a good watch.
