This synopsis may contain spoilers. Outlaw brothers Rick and Ray Wilson arrive at home to find that their father is long dead and their mother Anna is on her deathbed. Their henchman, killer Johnny Moffit, is anxious to get across the border, but the boys wish to stay until their mother expires. Doc Adams comes to treat the old lady, complicating matters. Then a pregnant woman shows up looking for Doc. With all this hubbub, Newly devises a plan to overwhelm Moffit in which he poses as a patient, secreting a gun under his "broken" arm. Meantime, Rick sneaks into Dodge City to see an old flame, where he is captured by Festus. Anna Wilson dies, and Ray decides to turn himself in. It is up to Matt Dillon and Festus to rescue all concerned in a shootout. Unlike many such tales, the outcome is happy.
