Izzie revealed to a patient that she got pregnant at 16, but gave her daughter up for adoption. Typically you would have to be 31 or 32 when beginning an internship after med school etc, which would make her daughter 16. However, Izzie tells her patient that her daughter is 11, which would make Izzie only 26 or 27. See more »

Dr. Meredith Grey: We can't help ourselves, we see a line we want to cross it. Maybe it's the thrill of trading the familiar for the unfamiliar, a sort of personal dare, only problem is, once you have crossed it's almost impossible to go back. The One Where Izzy Had A Baby...?
8 September 2016 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I really like this episode. I love that it turns out that Izzy doesn't come from a great background, and that she had a baby when she was sixteen. It somehow makes the character more likable.

In this episode, the nurses are on strike, and George refuses to cross the picket line. Meanwhile, Izzy connects with a young pregnant teen, and reveals that she also had a baby when she was sixteen.

Best part of this episode: Finding out that Izzy had a baby when she was sixteen.

Worst part of this episode: Nothing in particular.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
