At a surprise birthday party for Britt Reid, a gun he is given as a present by Dale Hyde mysteriously fires, killing a man who is an old enemy and former employee. With all evidence pointing to Reid as the murderer, it is up to him to prove otherwise. He escapes custody and breaks into a police station as the Green Hornet to examine the weapon. The fact that the clip is now missing from the gun, together with further events of the evening, convince Reid that Dale framed him. With no concrete evidence, Reid must make Hyde confess in order to prove his own innocence. Written by Twenty Penguins
