Lydia Plunkett, i.e. Eva Gabor, writes in her journal that her train from Chicago arrives in the fictional town of Beaver Hill, Nebraska. There are actually two towns in Nebraska with the word Beaver in the name: Beaver City in southwest Nebraska and Beaver Crossing, which is about 170 miles to the east near Lincoln, Nebraska.
When discussing who would play each part in a movie about the diary, Oliver says that Phyllis Diller could play Lydia. She does play a traveling piano saleslady in Did You Hear the One About the Traveling Saleslady? (1968).
This is the third and final appearance Gordon Jump makes in the series, playing a different character from his earlier appearances. The other two appearances are in Das Lumpen (1967) and How to Get from Hooterville to Pixley Without Moving (1968) from season four. He is perhaps best remembered for his recurring role as Arthur Carlson in both WKRP in Cincinnati (1978) and The New WKRP in Cincinnati (1991).

When Lydia sees Harry again, he's working as a mechanical mannequin for Barker's Bilious Pills in a storefront window.
