First of four appearances of the character Brian Williams, Mr. Douglas' young law partner, played by Rick Lenz. He is the "young man" just arriving in Hooterville getting off the train, greeted by Hank Kimball, who mistakes him for Terry Harper. Williams states he is NOT Harper, but doesn't identify himself further, and the character goes unnamed, but he is clearly the same Brian Williams as in the three future episodes from the same season.
Rick Lenz's first acting appearance, though he doesn't get his "introducing" credit until his second appearance, also on Green Acres, 8 episodes later in Law Partners (1969).
It's Hank Kimball who sees the program's opening credits superimposed on screen. After saying hello to Oliver, Hank tells him to wait for the last name to appear before continuing.
Haney is having a June White Sale. He's selling everything that belonged to June White. He shows Oliver one item: a bronzed leg of lamb he claims has Henry VIII's teeth marks on it.
Discovering Ralph in tears, Mr. Douglas compares her to Bette Davis, an actress known best for roles that involved a great deal of drama and often a lot of tears.
