The tower remains a royal pain.

Part two of this Goosebumps tale is just as good as the first part, thanks to some fun revelations and the way in which the plot twists and turns. The fact that I, a 37-year-old man, didn't know how things were going to pan out as the episode started is a testament to how enjoyably unpredictable it is. Well, for a little while, at least.

Kathryn Short and Corey Sevier return in the lead roles, of course, and William Fruet is still directing from a script by Dan Angel and Billy Brown (based on the book by R. L. Stine).

Sue (Short) and Eddie (Sevier) find themselves, once again, in no small amount of trouble in the titular tower, but the situation is even stranger than they could have imagined. Worst of all, their memories seem to be disappearing. Thankfully, other people know who they are, and one in particular (Morgred, played by Diego Matamoros) wants to help them out of their predicament, although it puts him in a very conflicted position.

It's yet another fun, kid-friendly, tale from R. L. Stine and everyone involved does just fine by the material. Okay, things get even more far-fetched here than they did in the first part of the story, but that's not such a bad thing when it makes the unfolding plot genuinely surprising.

Not the very best of the bunch, but this is an entertaining episode that should keep young fans most pleased.
