There's some bad power in the tower.
3 September 2013 | by (Edinburgh.) – See all my reviews

Kathryn Short and Corey Sevier play, respectively, Sue and Eddie, a sister and brother who are being entertainingly scared by a tour of the famous Terror Tower. But as the tour continues, Sue and Eddie find themselves separated from the group and being pursued by a mysterious dark figure. The siblings desperately want to leave the tower and just get back to their normal lives.

Directed by William Fruet, and adapted into TV episode form by Dan Angel and Billy Brown, "A Night In Terror Tower" is an enjoyable two-part Goosebumps tale that actually feels as if it warrants both episodes, as opposed to other tales that feel stretched to breaking point.

Short and Sevier are fine in their roles, and they are the focus of this episode. More characters are involved in the story, but they appear in the second part.

As ever, it's harder to review parts of a two-part tale than it is to review individual episodes, but this one feels a bit more self-contained, and therefore more satisfying, than most. It's up to the usual Goosebumps standards.
