Storyline

On the eve of his wedding Gary attends two stag nights - one arranged by Ron and another set up by visiting Canadian pilots at the Royal Oak. Gary gets very drunk and almost ends up heading out to sea with the flyers but returns to the present in a hung-over state. To afford him a lie-in Yvonne turns off the alarm clock, causing him to over-sleep when he should be at the church getting married to Phoebe. Written by don @ minifie-1

Trivia

In this episode, a bar flap is lifted up and an inebriated Gary almost leans on it before realizing and tapping his head knowingly. This is a reference to 'David Jason''s famous pratfall in Only Fools and Horses....: Yuppy Love (1989) in which Nicholas Lyndhurst also starred. See more »

Quotes

Ron: Two wives. Oh, no no no no, I don't think so.
Gary: Well, it does have its compensations, you know. All right, not just at the moment, perhaps.
Ron: You mean sex. Nah. Married sex: bit like a job of work, isn't it? Sign in, check your tools, do your shift, watch the clock. No thank you. When it comes to sex, I am happy to be freelance.
Gary: You don't mean freelance; you mean self-employed.
