Final appearance for Theodore Wilson as Sweet Daddy Williams
27 December 2016 | by See all my reviews

"Blood Will Tell" marked the sixth and final appearance of Theodore Wilson as Sweet Daddy Williams, hospitalized with a rare blood disease, and in need of a donor. JJ becomes the unwitting subject, his blood type of U Negative the same as Sweet Daddy's ("you positive?"). Apart from continued physical health, JJ is to receive an added incentive of $1000 for his trouble. Right hand man Bad News (David Damas) lives down to his name, betraying his boss with a notion of taking over the mob, suggesting that JJ take a trip to the Virgin Islands: "obviously, you don't know anything of my girlfriends!" Sweet Daddy actually talks to 'Big Daddy in the Sky' before JJ shows up to save the day: "a lot of dudes I know would have let Sweet Daddy die for 5 grand" "a lot of dudes I know would let you die for nothing!"
