Storyline

A young couple from the university come to the house to learn about Tom's self sufficiency drive. Barbara begins to become concerned and threatened when she realizes Ruth has fallen in love with Tom. Margo's world is turned upside down when one of the houses in the area is put up for sale and she fears 'undesirables' moving in could lower the standards of the neighborhood. Tom becomes a messiah to two students.
19 August 2006 | by (Coventry, England) – See all my reviews

Tom and Barbara, accept two young students into their home to help prepare their gardens and their newly acquired allotments for the coming spring.

Guy is an intellectual and a revolutionist in the making, Ruth is his girlfriend and follows his ideals. However as time wears on Guy becomes increasingly infatuated with Tom and his chosen lifestyle and looks upon him as a sort of Patriarch, Ruth also becomes infatuated with Tom, but for an all together different reason!!! Tom soon starts to feel uncomfortable with Guy hanging onto each word that comes out of his mouth as a holy gospel, and Barbara can't say shes to comfortable with Ruth's attraction to her husband either.

Margo, worried about who will take the now vacant house next door to the Good's calls an emergency meeting, to ensure that who ever moves in does not ruin the 'Avenues' air of respectability, however when it becomes apparent that Guy, Ruth and several of their friends plan to buy the house and use it for a 'We Love Tom Good Commune' its becomes clear that things have gone a little too far.
