This episode takes a theme used in Fearless Fagan and Gallant Bess. It's also in the spirit of righting things with a practical joke in the spirit of Andy Griffith Show. Hardly an episode to foster a desire to have a wild animal for a pet. And I'll gladly walk the other way when seeing a skunk. Still this movie has enough laughs to make it worthwhile. There's the ongoing rivalry with another barracks to move this story along. Character actors make the show work as usual. Sergeant Carter despite his tough exterior can interact with his platoon in tradition of Phil Silvers. This series takes military slapstick to an art form.
