Rose tells Blanche and Dorothy that her adoptive parents are the Nylunds. However, Nylund is her married name, and Lindstrom is used throughout the show as her maiden name. Also, the story she tells them is about being in an Orphanage for eight years. Later in the show, she meets her father, a monk, and in her story she says that she was left on the doorstep of the Lindstroms' as a baby.
In this episode, Rose is telling Blanche and Dorothy that she is adopted, and that she believes 'Bob Hope' to be her biological father. She says "Gunther and Alma Nylund were my adoptive parents..." "Nylund" is Rose's married name - her maiden name was Lindstrom so it wouldn't make sense that her adoptive parents' last name would be Nylund - it should be Lindstrom. When we meet her mother in a different episode, her last name is Lindstrom.
When Rose is telling the story of how she grew up in an orphanage, she says that Gunther and Alma Nylund were her adoptive parents. Roses' maiden name was Lyndstrum. Her husband was a Nylund. Her adoptive parents should have been Gunther and Alma Lyndstrum.
During auditions, the juggler implies that his brother and he are of Polish extraction ("my brother is still in Poland"). However, he introduces himself as 'Misha', which is a Russian-only short form of 'Mikhail' ('Michael').
After Bob Hope exits the box and starts his monologue, the box remains open. They cut to the girls, then cut back to Bob, the box is closed while he is telling the "God is a Dem?" joke. Then cut to the girls, then back to Bob the box is open again.
