When Blanche is putting up an advertisement for roommates at a supermarket, she meets Rose. Quotes

Dorothy Petrillo-Zbornak: [Sophia's just scared them brandishing a butcher knife and screaming] Ma, that is NOT funny!
Sophia Petrillo: Are you kidding, it's a riot! I pulled that one on old man Peterson after they showed 'Psycho' at the home. They said he would never walk again. He walked! Well, good night.
[waves the knife around]
Sophia Petrillo: Sweet dreams!
[exits kitchen laughing maniacally]

The Way We Met (#1.25)
12 January 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Having a sleepless night after watching Psycho the girls remember how they became roommates. Blanche put out an ad and Dorothy and Rose responded. After some considerations Blanche had them move in but their first shopping trip together made them question that decision. Yet a fun conversation and a cheesecake started their beautiful friendship.

A pretty fun looking back at how they met. I loved that kitty Rose had! Too bad she didn't kept it, the boy could have waited one week to save another cat from a shelter.

And their shopping trip was wonderfully funny. I would hate to shop with any of them.

Sophia who is not much on in this episode, still owns the scenes she is in with her hilarious lines and behavior.
