Trivia

This was the last Golden Girls episode that Terry Hughes was associated with. The previous episode before this one marked Hughes final episode as director. He didn't direct this one (the season five finale), but still got billing as co-executive producer. Hughes would not return as director or producer for the last two seasons of the show. See more »

The President's Coming! The President's Coming! Part 1 (#5.25)
18 February 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

The president chose the house of the girls as one of those he is planning to visit, especially because it is populated by seniors. The girls are excited and get ready remembering the days they spend in this house and together. And Dorothy gets ready writing what she wants to say to the president who is disappointing her.

Well what can I say. Another of those dreadful flashback episodes. As it looks they will have one at the end of each season. Absolute waste of an episode.

This one though has a great plot. The problem is though that it is a wasted plot. We see very little of it, most is what we have already seen.
