Did You Know?

Sophia was married the most out of all four girls: her first marriage was arranged to Guido Spirelli (however, she was left at the alter and never actually married), followed by her marriage to Salvador, and finally to Max Weinstock. Dorothy was married twice: to Stan and to Blanche's uncle, Lucas Hollingsworth. Blanche and Rose never remarried, although each was proposed to at least once. See more »

The bride is supposedly Dorothy's goddaughter, as stated by Sophia early on in the episode. Later on, when Dorothy, Blanche & the bride are all in the ladies' room, the bride refers to Dorothy as "Aunt Dorothy", and Blanche as "Aunt Blanche", but as Dorothy and Blanche are only friends/roommates, it does not make sense for the bride to refer to Blanche as she does. Blanche Devereaux: [after Dorothy violently pounds on the stall she's trapped in] Dorothy, you do that one more time and I'm going to write on the wall "For a good time, call Dorothy Zbornak".
Dorothy Petrillo Zbornak: [laughs] Blanche, this is the ladies' room.
Blanche Devereaux: RIGHT!

The Mangiacavallo Curse Makes a Lousy Wedding Present (#5.23)
16 February 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

The girls are going to the wedding of a relative of a guy who left Sophia at the altar many years ago and she puts a curse on him. And now it seems to finally be working. Dorothy wants to borrow somebody from Blanches A list for the wedding, and they have a bit of a conflict about it. And Miles is out of the city so Rose goes alone but her problem is that she always gets horny at the weddings.

A very funny episode in which character had a good story. My favorite was Sophia's especially how she made the guy say that he is going gay.

Rose was also fun, it is weird to see her in such a story line when they always make her so innocent. And Blanche and Dorothy made one laugh as well.
