Several times throughout the show, the house is shown from the outside depicting the bad weather that Miami is experiencing. The bad weather is referred to several times in the plot by Blanche, Dorothy and Rose. However, anytime Sophia is shown in her activities that occur on the same day, the weather is gorgeous: bright and sunny without a hint of rain.
