Quotes

Blanche Devereaux: I'm back to my old self, Blanche Devereaux has returned.
Sophia Petrillo: Oh boy. Strike up the gland...
[she leaves the room]
Blanche Devereaux: How rude. You'd think she'd feel sorry for me.
Rose Nylund: To tell you the truth, I don't feel sorry for you either. I mean, why should I? My Charlie is dead, and nobody's giving me a second chance. Mrs. George Devereaux (#6.9)
20 February 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Dorothy has 2 celebrities fighting for her love. And Blanche goes on a blind date and it turns out to be her dead husband George. Turns out he faked his death Blanche is angry and doesn't want to see him anymore, but Rose convinces her to do it. And after they talk Blanche wakes up and has the girls come over and talk to her.

A great episode. So many great scenes. Funny ones how when Dorothy tells how their "6 eyes met" or how Sophia describes Dorothy's prom date.

And the great story about Blanche and her dead husband. It is pretty intense so one feels for her, but also with some light hearted fun. And the scene when Rose convinces her to talk to George just as when she does is very moving.
