Larceny and Old Lace (#3.21)
20 January 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Sophia is dating an old gangster Rocco and Dorothy is worried. Soon they find a lot of money in his bag and when Sophia asks him where it came from he tells that he robbed a bank. Dorothy and Blanche read Rose's diary where they think she wrote nasty things about them, but it was about pigs she raised and Rose is very upset they invaded her privacy, but she forgives them.

Such a funny episode! The diary part was hilarious. Loved as Blanche read it when Rose was referring to the pigs. And it was so sweet when Rose said she went to the hall and already missed them.

The bank robbery story was fun as well and it was great to see Mickey Rooney as a guest star. The man has been there through the whole history of television and cinema.
