Home Again, Rose: Part 2 (#7.22)
ComedyFan201025 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Rose is having her operation and the girls are waiting outside. The staff doesn't allow them to see her as it is only allowed for family. Her daughter arrives. She is obviously upset and even say that she is the only one who is family but after spending some time with the girls and hearing what they are willing to do for Rose she makes it possible for them to see her after operation. And Rose has a dream of them all waking up as frozen heads besides Sophia who also got a body of a 25 year old.

A nice episode. We see emotional moments of them being all together and caring for each other. And we also have fun parts such as Rose's dream or coming back home. So now all that is left is the finale....

Wow, the penultimate episode!

When I saw Tom Villard in this, something told me his health was on the decline, and I didn't want to presuppose, but I checked & he passed from AIDS-related pneumonia less than 2 yrs later than this aired. I'm so sorry. It was a fabulous episode, was just sad that the series outlived its popular span.

Heads! We're heads!

Warning: Spoilers
If you look up pictures of Paul Lynde on "Bewitched" you'll see similar pictures of him as to what happens to the other three women in a dream sequence here. That's the highlight of this soap opera like episode where Rose needs a triple bypass and her daughter Kirsten shows up (sans the molasses rice krispie log thank goodness), and still equally humorless, even with a recast. Janet, Blanche's daughter is still there, the first time children of the women had appeared since Michael, Dorothy's son, had a fling with Rose's youngest child. Kirsten does come around, but as we barely know her, she's difficult to sympathize with. The best part of the episode is Rose's dream sequence, especially what happens to Sophia.
