Blind Ambitions (#1.23)
11 January 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Rose's sister who recently lost her eye sight comes for a visit. At first she refuses any help, but then when she sets the stove on fire she refuses to do anything on her own. Rose has to talk sense into her and it works out for the best. Besides this they have a garage sale but can't part with the things.

I really liked the blind sister story. What was great about it is that they didn't make it too simple but showed the independence being as what it is: with different levels. When blind one can't just go on s if nothing happened without adjusting one's life and get help, but that doesn't mean one has to give up it altogether. Good story.
