Even a great cast with Fernando Lamas and Alejandro Ray can't save this episode. Lamas and ray have the great charm and sense of humor that rises above this mediocre script. Once again, foreign agents are looking for a formula. Once again, they kidnap a scientist and eliminate witnesses, and once again, the two Latinos are paired in a machismo contest over the girl. There is nothing extraordinary about the script. What is interesting is that Fernando Lamas later returned to the series, this time playing a different character, but again in a mediocre script. The problem with the writers is that while certainly all of them can't be winners, there are a few real gems. The producers should have allowed certain writers to remain as creative consultants.
