Trivia

When Lorelai and Rory are driving home from Chilton, they stop at the same sign Rory stopped at, when she got hit by the deer. However she was going to school, now they're coming home from school and are at the same sign but facing the same way? Shouldn't the stop sign be facing the other way? Why would Rory not keep driving when she's talking to Lane? Her sitting at the stop sign could have been the difference between her being ten minutes late and her being on time for the test. EDIT SHARE Max says that the Advanced Placement test will take place on September 25, but all AP tests are given in May. He also says that it will be given on a Saturday, but AP testing takes place over a two week period on school days, Monday through Friday. See more »

Quotes

[during Lorelai's outburst in Headmaster Charleston's office]
Max Medina: [to Headmaster Charleston] I didn't call this place a rathole.
Lorelai: No, it's true. I added that.

The One Where Rory Hits A Deer...
1 May 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I really love this episode. It's interesting and a great idea. I just really enjoy this episode.

In this episode, Rory is studying for a huge English test and she's really nervous about. And unfortunately for her, on the day of her test, Lorelai can't take her to school, so Rory needs to drive herself. On the way to Chilton she hits a deer with her car and gets out to make sure it's okay. The deer is fine and runs off. This makes her late for her test and Mr. Medina won't allow her to take the test. This makes Rory furious, as you can imagine and understand. When Lorelai comes in, she yells at Headmaster Charleston and demands to let him give Rory a makeup test. But apparently, that's unfair. She hit a deer! There are antler marks on the car! Unfair, please.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.
