Storyline

Luke sponsors a girls' soccer team, but takes issue with the team's tough play. Lorelai is distressed when her dog is sick and she can't seem to find a way to help it. Jess makes a return with a gift to Rory. He has a run-in with Logan and makes it clear to Rory how he feels about the life he sees her living. Written by Peter Brandt Nielsen

Goofs

When Luke and Lorelai is at the diner and Luke is telling the girls on the soccer team that he will sponsor them, Lorelai is flipping through her color samples. As she starts to turn around she has stopped only about a quarter of the way through and on a yellow paint swatch. The camera then turns to face her as she starts talking.
