Trivia

When Lorelei tries to get Rory to talk about her first kiss with Dean, she mentions the new Lucky on General Hospital as old Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) left the show to do a role where he gets a "real" name. In reality, two years after this episode aired, Alexis Bledel made her film acting debut opposite Jonathan Jackson in Tuck Everlasting. See more »

Goofs

Lorelai says she is getting coffee and will meet Rory at Luke's, but Lorelai never makes it to Luke's, meeting Rory on the near side in front of the diner. Rory doesn't question why Lorelai has no coffee or asks what she was doing instead of getting coffee. See more »

The One With The First Kiss...
25 June 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I enjoy this episode. It's funny and sweet. It's not one of my all-time favorite episodes from the series, or even this season, but it is a good episode and I do have a nice time watching it.

In this episode, Rory and Dean kiss for the first time, in Doose's Market. Then Rory runs out and actually steals something that she had in her hands. She was just so surprised and shocked. Everyone hears about it, except for Lorelai and Rory has no idea how to tell her or what she'll say.

First appearance of: Taylor Doose

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.
