Good piece of work for a TV show.
searchanddestroy-13 June 2016
This early TV episode takes place in a small Mexican village. Ricardo Montalban plays a poor man who, one day, finds a gold coin and then become afraid to get looked as a rich man by his fellow neighbors. He gets afraid that they think of him he stole the money he could get from the gold coin. You deal here with a simple story speaking of a simple man, in whom many of us could recognize themselves. And it's a pretty good social and character study, especially in small towns or districts where poverty is. See how his own family reacts after he found the coin, how they plan a new way of life they could have if... Jack Smight is guilty of this episode, one of his first attempt for the TV industry and eight years before his big screen one.

Terrific performance from Ricardo Montalban, especially in the end, when he talks about his love for work, just in front of a very ungratful audience.
